Why solar panel maintenance matters
Solar panels are generally quite robust and low maintenance, but it is important to have them regularly checked and cleaned. Regular solar panel maintenance keeps them working efficiently and safely and helps prevent any future issues. In order to keep on top of your business’ solar panel maintenance, we recommend annual servicing, plus cleaning every two years.
What solar panel servicing includes
Our experienced engineers will carry out a full inspection of your business’ system. We check the output of the array, associated cabling, make sure the inverter is performing well and also check the panels for damage.
If any repairs are needed – such as replacing cracked panels – we will of course provide a quote first of all, but with your go-ahead we can quickly remedy any problems we find.
Keeping them clean
Solar panels do not tend to accumulate too much dirt, but do need cleaning every couple of years to make sure they stay efficient. We clean your panels thoroughly but carefully, so that they can make the most of the sun’s rays.
