Energy audits for business – do they make a difference?
If you want to reduce energy use in your building or start your strategic plan for decarbonisation, then the answer is yes! A business energy audit can help you get a handle on what’s using more energy than needed, what’s inefficient and where you can start to make savings.

Audits
How it works
An energy audit gives you a big picture view of energy use in your business premises, highlighting areas of high or inefficient energy use, allowing you to make changes and ultimately save money. Even if you think you’ve got energy saving covered, you’ll be surprised by what’s draining power unnecessarily and how a few simple changes can make a big difference.
Our process
An expert auditor will visit your premises and do a full survey of equipment and facilities, to look at what is using energy, how and when. They’ll look at lighting and heating in detail and get to know your building to see where changes could be made.
After the visit, your auditor will put together a comprehensive report on how you can make changes to bring down your energy consumption. These recommendations could be small steps – such as adjusting the settings on timers – but together these changes can add up to savings and a reduction in your company’s carbon footprint.
